This collection contains the records of various women's missionary societies in the Lexington Presbyterian Church (Lexington, Virginia), including minutes written by Margaret Junkin Preston and Ellen Glasgow. There is also a handwritten history (one page, front and back) of the Presbytery that explains the connection between Washington College, Lexington Presbyterian Church, and the Presbytery, which was written circa 1824.

Content Description A copy of an earlier photograph of Alfred T. Graham, a prominent pastor in Virginia and North Carolina from 1883 to 1917. Graham was born in 1859 in Winchester, Va. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 1878 and the Union Theological Seminary in 1883. Stonewall Jackson Correspondence

This collection contains three letters. One, dated March 7, 1863 written in Caroline County, Va. to Col. Boteler gives Jackson's theories of recommending soldiers for promotion. A second, which is dated Mar. 11, 1854 from Lexington, Va. to E.H.J. McCampbell, concerns Jackson resigning from the Franklin Society and Library Company of Lexington. The third letter, dated June 7, 1858, to Prof. J.L. Campbell describes the operation of the Lexington Colored Sabbath School.
