This collection consists of a typescript and publisher's proof of Fifty years in China: the memoirs of John Leighton Stuart, missionary and ambassador. It includes references to and a prefatory note by George Catlett Marshall, an introduction by noted Chinese educator Hu Shih, references to Pantops Academy (Charlottesville, Va.), Union Theological Seminary (Richmond, Va.), and Yenching University in Beijing, China.
