Scope and Contents These autographed and signed letters are from Mrs. Wilson to Washington and Lee President Francis P. Gaines and his wife, Sadie duVergne Gaines. Included is an invitation and seating arrangement for a luncheon given by Mrs. Wilson for First Lady Jackie Kennedy. The letters show the close friendship between Mrs. Wilson and the Gaines family. The collection also includes a photograph of Edith Wilson.
