This collection contains a copy of 'Organization of the Lee Monument Association, and the Association of the Army of Northern Virginia, Richmond, Va., Nov. 3rd and 4th, 1870'. A second copy is cataloged under E547 .L47 in Special Collections Rare. The printed invitation to the unveiling of the Robert E. Lee statue on May 29, 1890 in Richmond, VA is also included, in two pieces.

This record group contains archived materials about and created by Washington and Lee University's museums, comprised of Lee Chapel and Museum, the Reeves Collection, and the university's art collection, during the course of its regular business, such as official publications and records of its management.

An image negative of the Lee family piano when it was on display in the Lee Chapel Museum. The piano is now located in president's house on Washington and Lee University's campus. The negative was sleeved in an envelope with a note for 'Miss Helen' from Charles Tolley that reads: 'This is a negative of the piano in the Museum. If you feel that you could ever use it, you may keep it'.

This collection consists of an original photograph of Traveller's skeleton on display.

The photographic postcard is postmarked 1933, has a note written on the back from J. R. Goff to Henry Boley of Lexington, VA. The postcard is a photograph of 'Camp site of Gen. Robert E. Lee during a period of Civil War. Route 60 near Rainelle, West Virginia.'

Includes copies of correspondence between Robert Henry and Douglas Southall Freeman about Freeman writing a foreword for Henry's book The Story of the Conferderacy as well as copies of correspondence between Washington and Lee University Dean Frank Gilliam and Major Edward C. Betts about a Boude and Miley photograph of Robert E. Lee owned by Betts and used by Henry in this book.

This collection contains responses from McCormick's classmates and others to his proposal for a volume of reminiscences concerning Robert E. Lee's presidency of Washington College. Correspondents include William W. Carson and Fitzhugh Lee.
