Scope and Contents

This folder consists of multiple published items including part one of a two part volume published by the United States Pacific Fleet on the methods of psychological warfare against Japan with a focus on propaganda leaflet usage. The Washington Post publication also includes in its title, "the story of the secret weapon which had Japan ready to yield thirteen days before the atomic bomb struck Hiroshima."
