Abstract

British Author P.S. Worsley wrote to Lee's nephew and Worsley's companion, Edward Lee Childe. The letter indicates that Worsley was a great admirer of Robert E. Lee and Childe had recently sent him a photograph of the general. Worsley writes that he intends to dedicate a book to Childe and through Childe to Robert E. Lee himself. A note written on the back of the letter indicates that the book was a translation of the Iliad. Worsley died before the translation could be finished.
