Charles P. Blackledge Roman and Byzantine Coin collection
Content Description
This collection consists of 299 coins of both Roman and Byzantine origin. The majority of the coins are Roman. The majority have been identified and the dates used are the dates of the individual emperor's reign. The same date was supplied to coins featuring the wives or other females relatives of Roman emperors. There are a fair number of coins that could not be identified due to their condition. Others might still be indentified by future researchers. Each coin is housed in a coin pocket with an accompanying label and placed in a specifically number slot within a numbered tray.
