Content Description

A contemporary copy of a late 19th century photograph of James Marshall Hanger (November 12, 1833 – August 26, 1912). Hanger was an Augusta County (Va.) and served in the Civil War and later in the Virginia House of Delegates. He was Speaker of the Va. House of Delegates from 1871 until 1877.
