This folder contains newspaper clippings and typewritten accounts and anecdotes about Virginia African-Americans.Included are items relating to Virginia laws pertaining to slaves in the 1800's,race relations,an account of the origins of the monument in the Courthouse Sqaure in Lexington, VA, and an excerpt from the will of Washington and Lee benefactor "Jockey" John Robinson.
