George Hancock Correspondence
This collection contains correspondence written while Hancock was in Philadelphia as a representative of Virginia in the 3rd and 4th U.S. Congresses. The letter of Dec. 15, 1793, describes his living conditions and comments on the Algerian capture of American vessels; that of March 25, 1796, gives instructions to his overseer in Botetourt County, Va.

Grace Memorial Church Records
This collection is the minutes of a February 4, 1884 committee meeting at the church describing the funeral of former Virginia governor John Letcher (1813-1884) the week before, and the decision to name a group consisting of Lexington, Virginia notables to write a sketch of Governor Letcher's life. This group included G. W. C. Lee, Francis H. Smith, J. T. Preston, A. T. Barclay, and Col. Edmund Pendleton.

Hotinger family photographs
Photograph collection of members members of the Hotinger family of Rockbridge County, Va. This collection includes a photograph of Rice Hotinger and Susan Radar Hotinger celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on October 18, 1949; Harvey and Katherine Hotinger; Gertrude Hotinger; as well as a group picture of the Hotinger family. Each individual in this group photograph is identified. The collection consists of originals and copies.
House Mountain Images
One is a postcard ca. 1910 titled 'East Lexington.' It shows House Mountain in the distance and the Maury River downstream from East Lexington, Virginia. The two other images are duplicate contemporary 8x10 black and white photos of House Mountain printed from the original negative made by photographer Michael Miley, c. 1885 - 1900.
