John W. Davis Papers
This collection consists of a typescript of a speech delivered at Martinsburg, West Virginia (January 4, 1905); law license (1895); statements of assets (1904-1917); correspondence, and a legal document for the purchase of real estate (1898-1930).
John White Brockenbrough Papers
This collection contains two of John Brockenbrough's personal correspondences, a letter of resignation from Washington and Lee University, and a bank receipt from the Bank of Lexington. One of the personal correspondences contains information about military movements in Virginia during the American Civil War.
Jonathan Brooks Papers
This collection includes 9 letters, 1839-1863, from miscellaneous correspondents including A. C. Finley and Ebenezer Dickey Junkin to Jonathan Brooks of Brownsburg, Va. as well as bills and receipts.
Joseph Fauber Shaner Correspondence
The collection consists mainly of photocopies of American Civil War letters written to and from Joseph Shaner and his family. It also includes a portion of Shaner's 1862 diary, his service records, one photograph, obituaries, history, reminiscences, and genealogies (1754-1978) pertaining to the Shaner family and other Rockbridge County families.
Joseph Martin Letter
This collectin is a photocopy of a letter written by Joseph Martin informing a friend that the friend's son was killed during a military engagement at William Mann's mill. The letter was written from Fort Young. There is also a typed transcription of the letter.

L. A. Harper Correspondence
This collection contains the correspondence of Harper and his wife while he was stationed at James Island, South Carolina during the siege of Charleston and later during the Virginia campaigns of 1864. Topics include camp life, Harper's court-martial, domestic affairs, sanitary conditions, and supplies. The collection also includes muster rolls, other documents, and typed copies of the correspondence.

This ledger from the L. B. F. Association, which we believe stands for Lexington Business Foundation, covers the timespan from 1854-1862. It is very detailed about individual transactions.

Lee Monument Association Collection
This collection contains a copy of 'Organization of the Lee Monument Association, and the Association of the Army of Northern Virginia, Richmond, Va., Nov. 3rd and 4th, 1870'. A second copy is cataloged under E547 .L47 in Special Collections Rare. The printed invitation to the unveiling of the Robert E. Lee statue on May 29, 1890 in Richmond, VA is also included, in two pieces.

Letter from O.P. Baldwin to Franklin Society, Lexington, Virginia
This file contains a letter from O.P. Baldwin to the Franklin Society of Lexington detailing his availability and topics for a series of lectures in December of 1856. The letter includes information on pay, and has a list of four members of the Franklin Society. Letter addressed from Richmond.

Lexington Presbyterian Church Records
This collection contains the records of various women's missionary societies in the Lexington Presbyterian Church (Lexington, Virginia), including minutes written by Margaret Junkin Preston and Ellen Glasgow. There is also a handwritten history (one page, front and back) of the Presbytery that explains the connection between Washington College, Lexington Presbyterian Church, and the Presbytery, which was written circa 1824.
