Town Council Minutes and Ordinance Books for the City of Lexington, Virginia
This collection consists of 12 folio sized leather bound minute books documenting the meetings of the Lexington, Virginia Town Council, from August 1835 to August 1958 accompanied by two folio sized leather bound ordinance books from the Lexington Town Council. The first volume of town ordinances dates from August 1874 to August 1903 and the second volume dates from Februay 1911 to December 1931.
Tucker Family Papers
This collection includes items of John Randolph Tucker (1823-1897) and Henry St. George Tucker (1853-1932) including 18 letters, 16 of which are to J.R. Tucker, legal lecture notebooks, 54 printed speeches in Congress and before other organizations by both father and son, obituaries, in memoriams and miscellaneous items. Correspondents include Thomas Mann Randolph and George Washington.

Virginia Historic Landmark Application: Maple Grove Farm, Rockbridge Co., Va.
Collection contains 17 color photographs of the Maple Grove Farm house, including interior and exterior, and a photocopy of the orginal application paperwork to the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Historic Resources. Paperwork includes a historical account of the property written by Pamela Simpson. The property is just outside of Lexington, Virginia.
Virginia Hot Springs Company Records
This collection contains records, mostly in printed pamphlet form, of the Virginia Hot Springs Company, formed in 1892 from the Southern Improvement Company, with Decatur Axtell as its president. Also included in the collection are several pamphlets about other springs, e.g. Healing, Warm, and White Sulphur: information about automobile travel in western Virginia circa 1913, and a few letters to and from Mr. Axtell.

W. A. McComb Account Book
This account book was kept by W.A. McComb. In 1892 the Farmer's Alliance, of which he was a member, built a new hall to be used for its meetings as well as for a church and community center. Most of the entries in the account book were for expenses associated with the construction and use of the hall. It indicates that oyster suppers were held at the hall.

Welsh Family Papers
This collection is primarily general family correspondence including Civil War letters (dated 1862-1864) from John P. Welsh, a Confederate infantry officer, and James L. Welsh. There are also 34 family letters on microfilm, 12 of which were written by John P. Welsh during his confinement in a Federal prison.
