Grace Memorial Church Records
This collection is the minutes of a February 4, 1884 committee meeting at the church describing the funeral of former Virginia governor John Letcher (1813-1884) the week before, and the decision to name a group consisting of Lexington, Virginia notables to write a sketch of Governor Letcher's life. This group included G. W. C. Lee, Francis H. Smith, J. T. Preston, A. T. Barclay, and Col. Edmund Pendleton.
Graham Philanthropic Society Records
This collection contains minute books, roll books, treasurer's books (chiefly from before 1917), library books (1840-1868), and constitutions of the student society, including accounts of debates on current political and social questions and records of student library use.
Haskins Family Photographs
Two original photographs of young girls, each dated March 4th, 1896. One image includes Louise Haskins and May Haskins and the other shows Louise Haskins and Lucy Patton. James Monroe Papers
This collection includes the appointment, July 29, 1800, of John Bowyer, Andrew Reid, and John Caruthers as presidential electors; proclamation, March 16, 1802, by Gov. Monroe authorizing the meeting house outside Lexington, Va. as a proper place for holding court (2 copies); and U.S. land grant of 160 acres, April 2, 1818, to Aaron Sanford. All of these documents are signed by Monroe.

This file contains a letter from O.P. Baldwin to the Franklin Society of Lexington detailing his availability and topics for a series of lectures in December of 1856. The letter includes information on pay, and has a list of four members of the Franklin Society. Letter addressed from Richmond.

Lexington Presbyterian Church Records
This collection contains the records of various women's missionary societies in the Lexington Presbyterian Church (Lexington, Virginia), including minutes written by Margaret Junkin Preston and Ellen Glasgow. There is also a handwritten history (one page, front and back) of the Presbytery that explains the connection between Washington College, Lexington Presbyterian Church, and the Presbytery, which was written circa 1824.

The postcard is of the new structure of the Ann Smith Academy c.1910, which is now the Washington and Lee Chi Psi Fraternity house.
