This folder contains an account of a 1785 Native American attack and the scalping of McClure children in Lincoln County, Kentucky. There is also the last will and testament of John McClure which includes the sale of a slave named Anthony conditional upon the remarriage of McClure's wife or the coming of age of his youngest child.

This collection includes items of John Randolph Tucker (1823-1897) and Henry St. George Tucker (1853-1932) including 18 letters, 16 of which are to J.R.
