This file consists of three newspaper articles, two of which are from Rockbridge County News, which all provide general histories of a variety of historic homes in the Lexington and Rockbridge Area. Includes correspondence from W. H. Davy and Sons to George M. Minefree (Washington and Lee University Class of 1908 and president of the Harry Lee Boat Club at Washington and Lee University), and from the E. J. Kerns Company, concerning boats ordered by the club. Also contains correspondence from the C&O Railroad to William Riser (Washington and Lee University Class of 1908) concerning transportation of the boats. A key to the boathouse is included in the collection.
