This file consists of correspondence between Stuart and his parents. It also consists of commencement material, where Irwin was the valedictorian. Stuart's letter to the president of the school applying for reinstatment (because of lack of credits) and the dean's response are included. Stuart was reinstated on strict probation.

This booklet contains the schedule of end of year events, which were held to celebrate and commemorate the Washington and Lee students who fought in World War I. Events included several dances, a meeting of the Washington Literary Society, the performance of a band, and commencement. It also contains photographs of Washington and Lee's campus.
