Also incuded is a verse in remembrance of visit to Black Wall Cave, January 30, 1914, by H. M. Vest, which makes reference to several Rockbridge County, Virginia boys.

Michael Reid Hanger Diary

Elliott, III, who was a student at W&L during the 1956 Mock Convention. The video is in color and is silent. The footage of the 1956 Mock Convention runs about 8 minutes and is primarily of the parade. Sections of the video showing the convention floor and platform are brief and quite dark. Many materials describe the Shawnee Tribe and their presence and relationship with settlers in Kerrs Creek, Abbs' Valley, Balcony Falls, and Hayes Creek Mound. Some materials concern the death of Chief Cornstalk, also known as Hokoleskwa, and the Kerrs Creek Massacre.
