Carl David Swanson Scrapbook
This scrapbook was made by Swanson, the 1956 W&L Mock Convention chairman, featuring photographs and news items regarding the death of Alben W. Barkley while giving the event's keynote address. It includes letters from various senators (including Willis Robertson, Richard B. Russell, and Herman Talmadge) concerning Mock Convention and contains photographs of Sharon Ritchie, Miss America 1956, who attended the convention.

David Low ephemera related to the NASA Shuttle Program
This collection contains a Washington and Lee banner that David Low, a Washington and Lee alumnus, took with him aboard the U.S. Space Shuttle, Endeavour for 9 days, 23 hours, and 45 minutes. There is also a framed photographic print of the Atlantis space shuttle that Low presented to W&L President James Delane Wilson. Low autographed the photograph's mat.

These autographed and signed letters are from Mrs. Wilson to Washington and Lee President Francis P. Gaines and his wife, Sadie duVergne Gaines. Included is an invitation and seating arrangement for a luncheon given by Mrs. Wilson for First Lady Jackie Kennedy. The letters show the close friendship between Mrs. Wilson and the Gaines family. The collection also includes a photograph of Edith Wilson.
